About us
Meet our Founder and President
With 30+ years of professional experience and the last 20 of them in senior and executive leadership capacities on a global scale, our Founder and President, Fran Carlo, has been part of some very interesting journeys.
Working primarily for technology companies, he has had the pleasure to work with many industries and firms from inception to substantial growth over long periods of time.
Fran has been part of IPOs, mergers, acquisitions, turnarounds as well as balancing time for non-profits and community organizations.
Being a lifelong athlete, he balances work time, family time and fun time. His interests include motorcycles, boating, and golf. As a former college baseball player, he played competitive softball for 30 years.
He resides with his wife of 32 years he met in college, they have two adult daughters and their rescue dog, Domino.
Fran and Dawn adopted Domino from a local shelter, Buddy Dog
Humane Society, Inc. in Sudbury, Massachusetts.

His leadership experience has been on a global scale and he takes equal pride in delivering for companies and customers with a keen interest in developing the people and teams he works with.

How Lakeside Advisors was born
Lakeside Advisors has emerged out of the dream to bring solutions to problems.
Working in technology and with customers directly for over 30 years; bringing the intersection of tech, people and process to solve problems and add value is what drives Fran Carlo.
Balancing relationship building and making a difference for others vs self is what he prides his character on.

Fran actively gives back to the communities he is involved in, especially the Massachusetts Special Olympics to support his cousin, Jay Carlo, who is an active participant and runner for the Special Olympics.
